We see more and more business partners working closely together in their business and at the same time located o

ver different countries and cities.This trend started quite some years ago because of the endless digital possibilities, the lack of resources in certain areas and this expanded the last two years during COVID.

Working together and having a long distance relationship can be challenging. Especially due to the fact that this working environment naturally evokes an efficient way of getting things done on the one hand and asks for extra effort on 'care and closeness' (in other words 'are we in this together'?) on the other hand.

Naturally most business partners will attach importance to the first. It is easy and generally stimulated to enter the action mode as an entrepreneur. To set goals, to endure and to be result driven. And for sure, there would not be 'a business' without that behavior. At the same time we all feel that we lose interest, are generally less motivated and will lose focus, when we do not feel connected to the ones we run our business with.
